DAY 1: Arrival
Arrival at Fco Apt in Rome and transfer to the hotel in Perugia .
Dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 2: Perugia
Breakfast and departure to Perugia.
In the morning, guided visit of the Old Town of Perugia, one of the most famous art city in Italy. In its charming square, it is possible to admire architectural jewels like Palazzo dei Priori and the wonderful Cathedral located close to the Loggia. In the middle of the square there is also one of the masterpieces of the sculptural art of the thirteenth-century: the Fontana Maggiore.
At the end of the visit, free time to have lunch in a restaurant of the area.

In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3: Bevagna, Spello and Cappella Baglioni
Breakfast and departure to Bevagna.
Guided visit of the village of Bevagna during the morning. This ancient Roman town has preserved almost intact its medieval urban layout with its walls, towers, ramparts and medieval gates that allow the entrance at the Old Town. Along the narrow streets, there are many artisan shops.
The visit will continue in a characteristic medieval workshop: “ La Cartiera” (the paper mill). This is the place of production of the “cotton wool paper”, realized with the pulp derived from rags. The group will see all the work stages that allow to create the sheets made of this particular paper.
Another interesting artisan workshop is the “Setificio” (the silk factory): here, it will be illustrated the silk production cycle, from the breeding of the silkworms on mulberry leaves to the yarn crafting with a machine called “twister”.
At the end of the visit, tasting lunch based on typical products in a local winery. Guided visit of Spello in the afternoon. This beautiful hamlet, perched on Mount Subasio, guards art and gastronomy treasures. In the historical centre, it is possible to admire the jewel of the village: Cappella Baglioni (Baglioni Chapel). Painted by Pinturicchio, it also houses frescoes of the Perugino.
At the end of the visit, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: Spoleto
Breakfast and departure to Spoleto.
Guided tour of the historic centre of Spoleto during the morning. From Piazza della Libertà, with its Roman Theatre, the group will cross Piazza del Mercato, which once was the old forum of the town, to arrive at Casa Romana (Roman House). Visit of the House, of the Diocesan Museum and of the Basilica of Sant’Eufemia. Finally, climbing towards the Rocca Albornoziana, the group will admire the staircase of the façade of the Duomo.
At the end of the visit, free time to have lunch in a restaurant of the area.

DAY 5: Foligno, Olive oil mill and Montefalco
Breakfast and departure to Foligno.
In the morning, guided visit of Foligno, one of the most populated centre of the Umbria region. The tour includes the visit of Palazzo Trinci, with its frescoes made by Gentile da Fabriano. It will follow a walk through the centre of the town, in order to discover Renaissance Palaces, the Romanesque decoration of the Cathedral, the St Anna Monastery and the old church of Santa Maria Infraportas.
In the late morning, visit of a traditional olive oil mill. Guest will be shown the whole milling process, at the end of which a tasting of oils and “bruschette” will be provided.
Lunch based on typical products in a restaurant of the area.
In the afternoon, visit of Montefalco. Perched on the summit of a hill overlooking the pleasant Umbrian landscape, this town is known for its Sagrantino wine, produced in the surrounding countryside. Montefalco is also famous for the stunning frescoes of its churches and cloisters: for this reason, the town is an important landmark in religious tourism.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 6: Marmore Falls and Narni underground
Breakfast and departure to the Marmore Falls.
Guided visit of the Marmore Falls. A thunderous water column that flows over three “steps,” covering an altitude of 165 meters and enveloping the surrounding lush nature in a white cloud. Here, naturalistic, geomorphological and botanical theme excursions can be organized, as well as mini trekking with donkeys and cave visits in the depths of the travertine for small groups.
Lunch in a restaurant of the area based on typical products.
In the afternoon visit of “Narni sotterranea”. In 1979, a small, closed door was found, and then opened, by a group of explorers in the monastery of San Domenico. This door led to the most secret rooms and frescoed corridors of the monastery, and to a cell full of graffiti made by inmates of the Tribunal of the Inquisition. Today, thanks to discoveries made in the Vatican archives and at the Trinity College Library in Dublin, it was possible to reconstruct the history of the Inquisition of Narni and the people locked up there. This curious environment allows the group to dive in and breathe its unforgettable atmosphere.
At the end of the visit, transfer to Rome, dinner and overnight accommodation in the hotel.
We don’t want our guests to leave without a tasty souvenir of this trip: that is why a gastronomic lottery of typical Italian cold cuts will be offered during the last dinner together, as well as a parting gift: a bottle of high quality local extra virgin olive oil.
DAY 7: Departure
In the morning, transfer to the FCO APT .
